Media Log

What's an indie web personal page without a media log?. Well... some of them actually are like that. But i still want to talk and show about the stuff i enjoy (or don't) .
I only tend to write stuff about stuff i really enjoy though so most of the stuff i put here leans positive x3. I don't tend to watch series as much, mostly because i forget to finish them ;w;

• Team Fortress 2 - ★★★★☆ - This would have been a 5/5 if Valve still cared about this game, also i just got burned out of it in general. Still it left a very important mark on me for a long time
• Sonic Project 06 - ★★★★★ - If Sonic 2006 was good. Except this remake goes beyond that and has become one of the greatest games I've ever played in recent memory and possibly the best Sonic game I've ever played
• Sonic Robo Blast 2 - ★★★★★ - I remember the hype when 2.2 came out and all. This fangame is certainly really impressive and a wonder on it's own, along with just being really great and fun
• Super Mario War - ★★★★☆ - A really old and abandoned party fangame that i think deserves a lot more attention and a revival of some kind. It would have become something amazing if it had multiplayer
• Iji - ★★★★☆ - Really impressive for 2008 GameMaker freeware standards, and still a really nice game today. Just a bit unpolished when it comes to certain elements, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience.
• Black Mesa - ★★★★★ - How to do a Remake. Period.
• Worms Armageddon - ★★★★★ - My Childhood
• Celeste - ★★★★★ - Everything i could praise this game for has been said already, but still this game is just wonderful. Also trans people can double jump
• Half Life 2 - ★★★★★ - Still one of the best in general, along with having a really amazing story and ambience that kept me inmmersed for a really long time.
• No Man Sky - ★★★☆☆ - Prodecural soup except it's actually quite cohesive somehow? Although i did end up getting lost and bored after many hours on the game as i felt like it lacked real direction.

• Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind - ★★★★★ - Extremely amazing, beautiful, compelling, etc, just holy shit waow. I would like to see this movie again, and then again.
• Kiki's Delivery Service - ★★★★☆ - I really liked this one, was really cute but also really relatable. Although i didn't vibe it with as much as the above Ghibli film, and i feel like i might make everyone mad for saying this
• The Iron Giant - ★★★★★ - Basically what Warner Bros could do and could still do if they didn't decide that animation wasn't profitable or some shit years later. You should watch this if you have the chance
• Beauty and The Beast - ★★★★★ - I agree with a lot of people that this is pretty much the magnum opus of Disney Reinassance, although there are also some really amazing films from that era.
